Description
Wood-burning sauna right on the shore of Torneträsk, Scandinavia's largest mountain lake. The sauna is located about a 20-minute walk from the Swedish Tourist Association's (STF) mountain station in Abisko. From the sauna you have a beautiful view of both the lake and several mountains, including "Lapporten" which is a valley shaped like a U when seen from a distance (see pictures). Abisko is also one of the world's best places to see the Northern Lights.
